Nice price, in for 1! I see a lot of crazy crap living so close to Ohio. Believe me, I've lived in several states and Ohio drivers are the absolute worst drivers in the US, possibly North America. Between the collisions because the road is "wet" to the ever popular "Crap, I just OD'd on heroin/carfentanil and crashed into a ditch" to the "I'm 17 and invincible, crap I just wrapped my car around a power pole" action around here, this camera will help me capture all of it for a future "Ohio Drivers are the Worst" video blog Smilie

Xiaomi and Yi are different companies.

Xiaomi took Yi's first GoPro-clone action can and branded it the Xiaomi Yi. Since then, Yi itself has taken off and branding their products as their own.

Also, I debated getting this camera, but there are a lot of complaints about the image getting fuzzy (to the point it's useless) and high heat. Not sure what's going on thereā€¦ but it's enough a problem that I rather wait until the next-gen, higher-res camera (1440p).

I bought 2 and have zero issue. Video quality is great and price is very reasonable. BTW, I live in LA, so I haven't experience heat issues. I highly recommend it at this price.

Is this the best form factor (goes behind the rear view mirror?) or are the wedge kinds better (A118C or A119)? Looking to mount dash cam as discrete as possible.

You might want to consider a capacitor rather than a battery based dash cam if you live somewhere it's cold a lot. I live in chicago, and when it's below 32 degrees, it works very poorly. It cycles the power constantly until it gets up to temperature.
