Amazon has the Callway Men's Strata golf club set on sale for $125, and the lowest price ever according to CCC. Average price is around $190, I had an alert set at $150 to purchase so went ahead and made the leap with these.

These are highly rated as a beginner to intermediate set for someone getting started in the sport, and for years of play once you get into the game.

Some reviews of the set:

These are very good entry level clubs for anyone who wants to get into golf or someone who just needs a new set and doesn't want to break the bank. I've used these for the first 3 years of golfing and loved them. this price is a no brainer.

If you want cheap balls I recommend Nitro golf balls at Walmart for about $5 locally.

They are fine, they fly far enough and I lose them often enough that durability has never been a concern. If you are new sometimes 8 feet shorter keeps your off line shot out of the weeds. :-/ I like the orange ones because they are so much easier to see. A lot of the people I play with have started buying high visibility balls so you spend less time hunting and more time chopping. Yellow balls blend in too much where I live but orange is fantastic.

Just realize once you have a set of clubs, any set that fits your body, rather than replace clubs you should spend all of that money on lessons from a good instructor. Feel free to try a few instructors and find someone who helps you.

People, myself included, spend money on gear before we know how to even use what we have. The difference in great clubs and these are sooooo tiny compared to the differences in your game good instruction will make. You want to save $? That's my slickdeal advice.

Great deal. I've been eyeing these up for a while. Was hoping to land a set for around $150-175, but this is too good to pass up.

Does this also apply to the 5% + 15% statement credit for Prime card holders? If so, $100 for these is nuts.

If I am 6'4" are these recommended so I'm not completely crouched over?

Not Completely sure but when doing research I saw most people under 6'0" saying it was good for them and one review on amazon of someone 6'2" saying they were a bit short. At your height, they may not be the best fit but maybe someone with first hand experience can chime in.
