Use code FCDISCOUNT to get 20% domains, hosting, SSL, and email. The code applies to domain renewals as well, so you can lock in your domain at a good rate for a few years. Renewing a .com for one year is $8.55 with this deal.

FYI, if you are also using whois guard, there is also a coupon for that to make that 99 cents. It's this: "WGSPECIAL" (without quotes) Found it on retailmenot.

You cannot use both this 20% coupon and the 99 cent whois guard coupon at the same time, however you can purchase the renewal and whois guard as two transactions.

That way, you can use both coupons! (one at a time). When you add a domain for renewal to cart, you have to click the "disable" button on the whois guard to actually remove it from the cart. This doesn't actually disable whois guard, but just removes it from your cart. After the transaction goes through, just add the whois guard to cart and use the 99 cent coupon.

Good deal! Discounts on renewals are rare! Thanks for posting!
.com are $8.99 every day at NameSilo...no coupon needed.
I finished transferring all my domains from godaddy and other registrars to namesilo recently. I'm glad I don't have to hunt for renewal coupons anymore. Stupid godaddy Mad

Namesilo has been great and they provide lifetime free privacy, not just the first year like namecheap. You can also get a dollar off your first domain with them with a coupon like "buckoffdomain", too bad it's one time per account but I guess $8.99 a year with no coupon hassle is good enough.

You better renew with namecheap because it's a pain to transfer from them

Thanks, I did the 15% off renewals during Black Friday last year, but this is even better!

A semi-related question, but do any folks know how one might re-qualify for the first year promo hosting prices? The renewal rates are like 4x the first year discount price -- if I let a subscription lapse for a few months before buying hosting, will it qualify with the first year discount?

The other way I thought of is having a family member transfer the domain and buy the first year hosting, rather than me directly

Any ideas appreciated!

Anybody know were you can find cheap hosting that grants root access? Deal with a lot of dev stuff and being able to get that root is a must.
