i thought this is was a fantastic deal given that you're getting one of the top end (although last gen z170) motherboard from Gigabyte and same for the Sapphire RX 580.8GB. Downward mining trend and last gen chipset explains the low price...me thinks.

They had a similar combo two weeks back with Gigabyte 580 + Z270 board. You can return the board unopened with no restock fee if you only want the card for mining or resale.

edit: as pointed out below this won't work on this bundle as the board is replacement only (no refunds)

yes except this board is actually worth keeping ...that is if you're looking to build a system. The other one was a low end board. Also the combo discount is $45 which you will forfeit if you return it...probably something to keep in mind.

its replacement only on the video card. that has been the case for as long as i can remmeber you can check all their video card listings. the motherboard can be refunded. this is still like their regular combo return policy just keep in mind if you return 1 and not the other...you lose the $45 combo discount.

You can sell the motherboard on eBay or better yet you can sell the video card and get the same price as the whole combo because of mining it's worth more then 400 just for the gpu. You can end up getting the motherboard for free anyways. This is hell of a good deal I just bought two.
