When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Totally off the current topic, but for those who have been recently pregnant or currently are pregnant, or can remember back that far, any tips for preventing/alleviating lower back pain? Its seriously interfering with my shopping habits! laugh out loud I asked my OB, and she said, "Well, you're older now (EEK! gee, thanks! I'm only 30!), you have 2 small children you're taking care of and constantly holding, etc., plus you're in the final weeks of your pregnancy! What do you expect?" Um, a miracle? Pretty please?! nod
Your OB sounds like a dick! Anybody's back would hurt in the final weeks of pregnancy having to tote around 2 kids. You're carrying around a lot more than your back is used to. Obviously the only OTC you can take is Tylenol, which doesn't do much. I used heating pads and the Thermacare patches...warm baths were always nice too. Smilie

Exactly.

And I didn't vote for a man who thought so little of his position and his wife that he cheated on her INSIDE the White House.

I think we all can agree that our children do things we don't approve of, but does that mean we were horrible parents and our family isn't strong? I would have to say a sign of strength in a family is to face something like a teenage pregnancy, and move on even more tightknit than before. Can't say I would have been as forgiving as a mom, and I sure as shooting know there would have been dire consequences for me growing up if I had come home with that news! laugh out loud

And just for grins and giggles Big Grin, traditional marriage IS the foundation for strong families and strong societies. It has been proven throughout history, throughout ancient civilizations. I won't judge a person based on their prefences, but the sanctity of marriage has to be upheld.

So now you all know where I stand! Stick Out Tongue

Well said! and you are not alone!

As for the back pain, they do make back support for preggo's, also follow good back lifting, as hard as it may be always bend at the knee to lift up and always carry your current munckin in front and not on the hip, I carried my oldest on top of my belly if I had to pick her up.

Only from the last 10 days......

Quote from BethY :
Went today and had 2 great runs....
1st...multiple Starbucks bars 1.08-$1 Q, 5 Bloom clearence at 6.48-both q's,3 $8 Cranium games-peelie (on them! less $5 tq) 2 movies-q's, 3 mm 8 pk+2 free .69 each!, 3 greeting cards, 2 Barbie Candy Glam $8 each-hw q's and etq, Good Food Mag 3.15-$3 q, Clorox travel pk $1-.75 q, 1 Diet coke...no q,
I saved $98 and pd w/a gift card
2nd run, 3 Cranuim $8 games (same as above), 1 Barbie (only 1 on shelf)-q's, 1 Starbucks bar-$1q, 2 pk Cookies and cream kisses .80 each (no q's),3 10pk of Reese .50 each (no q),3 movies-2 $10 q's (3rd one was the Peanuts Thanksgiving...so no q!),
Pd bill w/a gift card. Funny thing was my Cranium peelie beeped...I didn't think any thing of it...got home and thought about it. Seems that when the computer asked for the price, whatever button he pushed cleared it...didn't 'charge' me for it so I got it for free!
Found tons of $5 (wisp starter kit peelies), $2 Wisp refill q's, $3 Luminere q's, $3 off Dora saves the Crystal ..dvd q's, Cranium q's, .50 Carpet fresh, .50 Downy q's, 1 $10 Tidy Cat q
There were also tons of Starbucks peelies (I didn't take any as I found TONS at Kroger),
FYI...if you use Excedrin (sp?), there are peelies and blinkies on packages and at Kroger. They q's are for $2 off and it's only $2 at CVS! (sorry, didn't want to make 2nd post!).
I have also seen lots and lots of the $10 off Disney q's so they are still out there! No, I didn't take them all, just for the movies I've been getting!
I'll work on my q's this week and post what I have to share! The next 48 hours are swamped..
I know I have 8th Edition (or whatever it's called) $1 off Soymilk,
$2 off Angel Whisper
John Morell 'off the bone' $1 q's
And tons more. If there is something you're looking for, just pm me and I'll see what I have..
No...I don't have extra toy or $10 movie q's.
Quote from BethY :
went to MULTIPLE stores today...got 6 Bloom games for 7.08 used etq and mq.
Found over 50 Starbucks...all for 1.08 so the q went thru great!
the .75 clorox blinkes from Kroger work great on the .99 wipes in the travel section at T!
I didn't find much on encaps.
However, I did go a peelie hunting at T and other stores.
I found a ton and tomorrow will post my 'traders'. I took some for you all and it's everthing from soymilk to meat!
Quote from BethY :
I can't believe I forgot to post it earlier in the week. I found about 40 of them @ .76 each. Cashier peeled EVERY q and used them right there. She had to put in the price, but I didn't argue! I did offer to peel q's and she said that would be most helpful and laughed!
Quote from BethY :
made a quick run tonight....
found 29..yes 29 of the Starbucks bars @ .90 each, had ortega q's so bought 4,
bought 2 clearence Bloom games and 1 of the LPS sets. bought 4 movies for neighborhood party door prizes, Hershey 6 pks at 1.42 each-$1.. 3 of the Good Food magazines, 3pk of Purell at 1.60 among other stuff. Lindt .68 (used a b1g1 and a free q). Also tried to buy the recycled bags...

So I get to check out. Cashier was talking that the pg lady infront told her she was 'pi$$ed off' at her. I tried to chat her up hoping to change her mood.
Well....I was able to use 3 of the $3 partyware q's...4th came up max 3,
Movie q's beeped 'item not found'.. This store has always been super q friendly.
Well, my Starbucks kept saying 'item not found'...She knew that I had them...
Well, over comed the lod. She asked if I got them etc. We all agreed and she said just 'override it'...but I'll stand right here so when they play it back, they will see me'.. (what does this mean?)...THEN she says...oh don't forget the 10 q max! WHAT??? I have 29! She say that the max is 10 a day. I asked when that started and she said it was by the general manager. I had nothing to argue with as I know they can limit it and I know it's better then 1 or 3 that many others have had issues with.
However then they scanned the 'free bag' q that I printed at their scanner when I went in. It would not scan! Said item not found! The lod then goes on to say that AP will not allow them to accept any q's that will not scan and they can not override them for any reason. I kept saying why not? She had no reason, just tha AP won't let them. I wanted to laugh at the 'power' they give them.
Should I call corp? I've called once in the past and I know that someone mentioned to not bother if they have you in the system.
I don't care about the limit...that's their choice (I just wish I'd known!) but it's just stupid that they will not accept their own q's printed at the front of the store! I printed them 90 minutes prior to trying to use them....do they have an expiration (30 minutes? 60minutes? 12 seconds???)
bc was $129, ac $20, but would have been much less had they taken all of my Starbucks q's!
Quote from BethY :
had a wonderful run tonight! $125 bc $25 ac
Found some candy on C... .76-.79 q on package (20)!
2 Bloom sets 7.99-$5 (plus got more peelies!).
Ice breakers gum .34-.50 (had a ton of them)
Reese .70/10 pk-$1 q (again had a ton)
$2.89 LPS books-$5 etq. (9)
3 Disney movies-q's
6 easy mac-q's
6 tuna-$1 q's
other stuff I just can't think of
I forgot to use the $3/15 party, but she just k1'd away and I didn't even think of it.
I always try to go to the young guys, but there were none! She was wonderful!

Ok..so what made is wonderful!
The score on qs/peelies/blinkies! (some also from Kroger)
not all are new, but I'll list anyways...
$1 on 1/2 gallon 8th Continent
$1/2 Pillsbury frostings
$1.50/1 Birds eye steamfrest for 2
$2 off Coke Multi/nestea AND 2 red barron singles
$1 Starbucks chocolate...wonder if it works on any chocolate drinks
$1.50 Goodnights
$1 Taco bell Originals
$2 Dove clinical
$2 Nivea for men
$1.50 off multipack Boost
$1/1 4pk AMP
$1/1 24 pk Pepsi
$1 off Deli Creations
$10 off Disney Montana
$1 Altoids
.55 Soft n'Dri
I used the KY qs on trial size...in the box is $2 q's (says not on trial ymmv)
I know there were more, but I put them right in my sections and can't think of them. These are just the ones I didn't file yet.
Quote from BethY :
Boy do you have me wrong.
1st...I'm not suggesting anyone send anything anywhere. I'm just suggesting that I see so many folks talk about how they are getting so much stuff they will 'have it for a life time' or 'that they will never use' or have x totes full etc. All I'm suggesting is that before stuff expires, that we all share with ANYONE who needs it. I don't care if it's a church, shelter, neighbor, or even a stranger, just to not let it expire and kinda sound like laughing about just throwing it out cause it's free!

I think people in general get so involved in our own lives that many just forget that there are so many who need stuff we get! They look at things we get for free as a luxury!

As for smash and grab...no way! Only when I'm desperate do I use many more then 2-3 of any one coupon. Many times I combine many stops and just post instead of breaking it out. I have 10 stores w/in 20-30 minutes max...5 stores w/in minutes of my work, home , shelter, or other locations I'm at all the time.
I'm sorry that you were offended by my posts and I will stop sharing what I've found and any coupons that I find.

I just hope and pray that people think of others and share their bounty and good fortune.

Have a wonderful day!
Don't want to overlook buying 74 reams of HP paper with 2 MQs on each either. No wonder HP contacted CIC regarding the misuse of it Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

The poor lack much, but the greedy more.

I just wanted to give a shout out to the heavyset woman with facial hair that shops at one of my stores....taking a $400 order down to $17. Seriously...what q's are you using? Hope you're not planning on shopping at this store again anytime soon, my jedi cashier said that many other cashiers gave the leads your description (see above) and now he has to check all q's. We still had lovely conversation while he happily scanned all my legit q's.

On another note, I thought I saw a post with the names of the cranium games on sale this week...this store only had Zooreka. Couldn't find the Polar Bear game at all. Anyone know the names/dcpi #s? TIA! Smilie

Isn't it funny how as moms, the hardest thing to do is "slow down" or "take it easy"? Smilie

Hubby is one who loves to help but doesn't always see the need, kwim? So I've been asking him to switch out the laundry for me, as our washing machine is in the hallway, halfway across the house from the dryer, which is in the pantry/mud room (don't ask - its a house from the 60s when apparently such things as efficiency weren't very important, I guess?). He was doing it for me tonight, and comes groaning down the hall with a basket full of wet clothes and says, "Honey, you're not doing this again until the baby is born, ok? Its way too much for you." bounce nod Yep, that's what I was trying to oh so subtly tell you. Big Grin

Hubby and I had our first night out in a while - 2 of my sisters offered, as a birthday gift for him, to babysit while we went and saw a movie, which they paid for. Very, very nice. It was just the movie, no dinner or anything, but we DID stop at Target on the way home. Must be true love, huh?!

Oh, and can you believe we saw the movie without using a Ponds cert?! I never bothered with the peelies because we so rarely have time to go to the moves. But ... we did use an Entertainment book coupon, so it was somewhat of a deal. Wink

Oh, and I saw a lady in front of us at Target use a wad of coupons, but all I could see in her cart were multi-packs of Kleenex and some brand of paper towels. Am I missing a deal on Kleenex?

Has anyone in the KC area ever went to the flea market to sell stockpile stuff? I am thinking about trying it....tags are due. Ugh. Plus, I am trying desperately to pay down my credit card.
