I hate my new desk job at the police station

Some crazy person just showed up to file a police report. Apparently they bought a gold plated fidget spinner for around $20 on Amazon and never received the item, but the shipping company shows is as having been delivered. They complained about having to drive their liquorcycle to the station to file the report, even after I explained that they could have simply called to file the report. They might even have been able to file the report online, but I'm old and don't know about all this newfangled internet gobbledygook.

Anyway, I told the guy I wouldn't provide him with a pen to complete the form because of his attitude. He simply said "I'll be back" with a thick Austrian accent. We'll see if he returns. I already hate this job so much that I'm looking forward to being terminated, just for the severance pay.

I'd get out of that job, being an officer is much more rewarding when you encounter ignorance of this magnitude, usually a 10 second burst of O.C or a couple baton strikes sorts them out, and it pays well too. Can't wait to retire though, 90% of my income for life and leave at 50.
