StackSocial [stacksocial.com] has on sale 2 Years of Private Internet Access VPN Service for $47.96 when you use code PIA20.

Beats this previous FP deal (+383). I bought this deal last time, I currently am running PIA on my phone and on my desktop when I'm home. Feel free to ask me questions about either device, I will do my best to respond to everyone. Note, offer good for new Private Internet Access customers only.

Good price, however I noticed their public IP is blocked by multiple provider. I contacted their support team to assign different ip, no solution yet.
Good price for a great product. But where's the love for existing customers? Frown
Oh come on, you REALLY think $30-$40 for a lifetime subscription can keep their servers running?

Look at hotspot shield selling their customer's data.

I'll let you know my desktop speeds once I'm home tonight. I'm not sure how to check this on my phone.

Not the fastest speeds, but it has a good price.

I could never max out my 100 mbps connection with PIA, so I switched.

Also, I'm not sure if their client can punch through firewalls. When I had PIA, I was told by their support that they couldn't do anything for me...but at least they offered me a refund.

I bought a 2 year plan a while back and it's been great. My speeds haven't changed at all -- my internet is rated at 60 download and I still get that easily. However, Netflix and some other streaming sites do not play nice; you will have to turn it off to use these. Otherwise it's been a great VPN.

I tested twice just now and got 167 Mbps down, 10 Mbps up, which is about what I get not going through the VPN. (My service is 150/10 Mbps.) I don't think I've ever seen these speeds before with PIA, but I don't frequently test. Maybe they increase throughput when there's a deal going on. ;-)

I switched to a few VPN's over the past few years.

Torguard is pretty decent and it's a cheap VPN. Doesn't punch through firewalls as well.

I now use AirVPN. Expensive, but I can go through my university's firewall and my work. Also you can max your download on any server. It's the only VPN that I could find that gives you information on a specific server (like bandwidth load, latency, etc)
