Game of Thrones has so many characters who have died, but there were some extremely awesome characters that still live on. I wanted to create this Game of Thrones Fan Page for ultimate rumors, theories, who will die who will live etc etc ...
Who is your favorite character ... Vote Above ^^
Winter is coming ...
I'll get started with the confirmation of the penultimate season of "Game of Thrones," the HBO show finally confirmed one of its most chilling theories: yes, ice dragons exist.
The concept of ice dragons has been on fans' minds for a while.
In A Storm of Swords, George R.R. Martin's third novel in his series, a Jon Snow chapter compares walking through a tunnel in the Wall to walking in the body of an ice dragon:
The ice pressed close around them, and he could feel the cold seeping into his bones, the weight of the Wall above his head. It felt like walking down the gullet of an ice dragon.
Similarly, in Martin's fifth novel, A Dance with Dragons, another Snow chapter references ice dragons again:
The snowfall was light today, a thin scattering of flakes dancing in the air, but the wind was blowing from the east along the Wall, cold as the breath of the ice dragon in the tales Old Nan used to tell.

Season 7 was delayed longer than Season 6 which had 10 episodes. Season 8 will be 6 episodes also expected to average around 80 minutes each so it would be more filming for fewer episodes. Hopefully it doesn't take that long but it would be preferable to all of the plot holes this season.
i agree season 7 was long overdue but seeing so far i wouldn't mind waiting, the past couple episodes have been pretty mind boggling for me at least. i actually dont mind longer episodes. i know prior to start of season 7 they released an episode 00... pretty much summarizing everything from seaosns 1 - 6 kinda of like a refresher which was pretty awesome to see how much every character has grown.
This has been a big complaint, and the show's director has kinda just shrugged it off and given us a line of bullshit:
Then there's the sibling rivalry that came out of nowhere between Sansa and Aria. WTF is that other than just a stupid plot filler? All either of them had to do was explain what they had been through to earn some empathy for each other. The entire series has been about the Stark name and the kids' stories peppered with some lineage and dragon time fillers. The kids identify as family first, and neither of them trust LIttlefinger. Why fall in to this if not to throw some stupid twist in the plot they need to wrap things up.
Then there's the 9 lives of John Snow. After seeing him in 7 Days in Hell I can't see him as anything but the bumbling idiot he is. There's no way, stupid or not, that he can survive drowning like that. And why did all of the wights leave after the battle only to come right back to pull a dragon out of the water. Did they have to go to the Walmart of the North to get that chain first? I highly doubt everyone would have gone. Others would have stayed back and waited. And OMFG bringing his uncle in to it to save the day? How many ways can they ruin this show?
Sorry. That doesn't fly with me. First they delayed the release of the season because they said they needed more cold weather to do the filming. The only frozen part of the show that they filmed was pretty much at the north farking pole or thereabouts. It's the same up there year around. The final battle in the last episode was filmed in Scotland where they made fake snow. Other than that they have had zero need for any natural snowfall or cold climate they couldn't get where they were filming before. Couple that with the fact that the season is anywhere from 3 to 6 episodes shorter, and I'm starting to think the delay was simply because they couldn't get their shit together on a story to wrap things up.

Sansa/Arya thing was real dumb, I didn't get it either. Why throw in new plot twists if you want to tie up loose ends?
Jon Snow going to fetch an undead was dumb, I didn't get it either. Why take such a risk? Oh I know, writers wanted to transfer a dragon to the night kings and this is the best they could do.
I think I am going to keep my expectations low for the season finale and next season. So basically I will turn off my brain when watching.
The fast forwarding is annoying for sure especially when the show has always been super slow to develop. But I am willing to overlook the time inconsistency if they have a good story line. I do understand them trying to tie up loose ends for the final season and the war with the night kings by skipping a bunch of crap and strapping rockets to ravens but...

That said, I think the only purpose of the sibling rivalry was to keep Littlefinger relevant and possibly to use it later to throw Cersei off somehow.
As for Snow's decision to capture one I completely agree. This was utterly stupid. It makes zero sense. Even if that was his decision, if Martin were writing it would have taken him 6 months to travel to the wall, and at some point someone would have convinced him to do something else.

But yeah how the hell is JON SNOW still alive after all that BS like seriously. I mean yeah i get he is the protagonist and everything and they have to keep him alive but its all bunch of BS when you actually think abt it in detial. But yeah i agree where the frack did they get the CHAINS from like seriously. And honestly i found the whole night king just killing the dragon with one arrow thing kind of stupid that scene had so much potential but the directors ruined it. the uncle thing was pretty stupid as well, cuz sooner or later jon snow will def run into his uncle again because he would be turned into one of the walkers.
but even with the dragon i think bran will control the ice dragon, bc i rmr few season back when he was told he would never walk again but he would be able to fly (maybe this was just referring to the ravens, but i think it had a deeper meaning to it hence the ice dragon) so i am assuming if he can be in raven he can possibly be in a dragon, also since his connection with the night king is so strong.
I kind of disagree with you on catching the walker i think it makes sense, but the WAY he actually went about to do it was pretty stupid. okay hear me out, put ur self in cersei's or even danny's shoes. Think about a man who is king in the north and talks about walking dead zombies in the north like i wouldnt believe that Shi8T for 1 sec. even today if someone says zombies exisist would you believe them ? I would say NO, unless you have proof. I think showing Danny the whole army of the dead was a great idea bc it got her head out of her ego ass and realized like shi*8t this jon guy is really telling the truth. I think the same needs to happen with Cersei in the next episode, where jon needs to show cersei and jaime the walker to make them believe it but i think cersei is going to be like the mad King where she still doesn't believe it and will MOST LIKELY lead to her death.

I would agree with you on this point IF.....we didn't now know that Leer jet ravens existed and dragons can fly faster than them. Dany and Snowball could have hopped on a dragon, seen the wights, and that would have been that. If they wanted Cersei to see them as well a dragon could snap one or two up in his feet and drop them at her front door. The people see the dragon and urge her to surrender. She sees the wights and realizes they are all dead without her army. Snowball gives them all pearl necklaces. Bob's your wight uncle. The end.
ohh yeah the scene after the battle on E6 i think when the people refuse to bend the knee and you see drogon scream and they "shi8t their pants" literally and metaphorically. lol I think Jaime was trying to imply Cersei to surrender until she tells Jaime she is pregnant with her son since jaime has seen the power of dragon esp drogon.
