JCPENNEY debit info stolen

my bank call me about fraud on my debit card. the first charge was a 0$ charge from JCPenney , and then right after they bought 100$ in Dunkin donuts gift cards through the dunkins app. just warning anyone who ordered through JCPenney . I called and they said they never put 0$ charges. my bank is the one who said the first charge was 0$ from JCPenney. could be a 1 off but better to be safe than sorry

Crooks ran a test auth on JCP site to test a card number before fraud attempts. Nothing to do with a fault or compromise of JCP.

Dunkins corporate isn't open until Monday. There's gotta be a way to see where they purchased the gc's from thru the app

just file a police report.

they might not have actually been in a store. they may have just loaded a card with an app purchase.
