paid more for non cipher version ! no regrets really good (more or less portable!) closed back planar cans easily driven by phone ! amp makes 'em sing !
Damn. I don't use iPhones but do have an iPad pro. I've been looking at the entry oppos, anybody want to comment on which is the better one for their prices?
Great headphones. Hate the cable though. And no custom made cables available.
Agreed. Great sound. Hate the flat-style stock cable. Haven't use the cipher, but it makes me almost wish I had an iPhone - these seriously need an amp (Fiio E17 is sufficient for my portable use).
Couple questions before I drop a few bills on this.
Will this work well with the MacBook Pro Late 2017 edition? It has two lightning ports.
Also, will this work on my custom built PC with a 3.5 mm jack?
I do intend to buy an amp and DAC in the future but was wondering if it was absolutely necessary since I have a MacBook Pro and if I could get by with a 3.5 mm jack with my custom built pc?

Tmk - stock cable has 3.5 mm jack and cipher cable has lightning connector - you should be good with both of your options ! My favorite set up is paired Fostex hp p1 and hp v1 ! Little tube amp gives 'em a kick !
Flat. Not flexible.. dont mine paying extra for custom..havent seen any given angle plugs
I hear you ! no matter that I don't mind flexibility of the stock cable not the worth cable I have experienced ! hopefully someone 'll come up w/aftermarket alternative !

You don't like it because it's flat or because it short ?!
