My local dollar store carries these. Not bad, I keep them on our bikes, inside our motorcycle saddlebags, one on the mower, even one on the garage broom and inside he mailbox. They seem to last around a year, I keep a few as back-ups.

Having just 2 LED how far can they effectively light up? None of the reviews bother to mention or photo such. If I get it, I'll probably would use 2 if necessary.

They used to carry these at the dollar tree near me. I wished they still did.

Agreed. But I think the 160 hours means the lifespan of the LED light, not the batteries. Batteries can last longer or even less.
