Epson 5030UBe 3LCD Projector @ Epson Store Refurbished w/ 2yr warranty. This has wireless HDMI as well as amazing lens shift feature. Also it has deeper blacks to match DLP levels. This is as good a deal you can get for 1080p unless you want pseudo 4K in 5040UB.

Won't last long. Cheaper than 5030UB. Few in stock as well. Should come with couple of 3D glasses as well. No returns though but their CS is amazing. If something goes wrong they ship replacement first via 2 day shipping and then you use the same box to return via.


Note: Epson does not accept returns on refurbished items except if product arrives defective, in which case, we will provide a replacement with the same model or equivalent. This unit may not include the same software or paper pack as new models.

damn was going to buy this to save wear and tear on my jvc, but the epson store now charges me tax, which kinda kills it for me..

Can anybody speak to the condition Epson refurbished products typically arrive in? Not being able to return on a $1000+ product in case it arrives in rough condition makes me weary.

Great projector. Paid $2,200 three years ago and it's still going strong. Plan on keeping it another year or two until a reasonably priced 4k model is out.

Ridiculously deeper blacks vs 2045
Wireless HDMI so no cable clutter and easy to mount.
Higher lumens but that's not much of difference.
THX certification for ones who care.
Very nice lens shift both horizontal and vertical. Best in industry almost.

So Epson left me a VM today from their "fraud department", wanting to know if my order was real. WTF, I guess I won't be playing with the projector this weekend Frown

Strange because this is like the 4th projector I've bought from them.
