Costco at least by me has the floodlight cam with a Chime Pro and one year of cloud service for $249. Considering cloud service is $3/mo or $30/yr, it's the better deal, since you are getting a chime pro for free or better unless you are not gonna get the cloud service, which would be odd IMO.

Is there anything similar to this that doesn't require hard-wiring?

Ring has a Spotlight Cam that offers similar functionality but won't be nearly as bright as the Flood Cam.

The Spotlight Cam can be purchased in either a wired, rechargeable-battery, or solar-powered configuration.

These are pretty great. I've installed two of these at my grandma's house as well as one at my parent's house. You only have to pay the monthly fee if you want the cloud recording. That being said, their $100/yr for unlimited cameras isn't too bad if you are going to stay with their ecosystem. I've only had issues with the doorbells, but that was fixed by upgrading the doorbell transformers.

I have both. The ring doorbell pro and the flood light. Works very well for my needs and I pay the $100 a year for unlimited cameras and warranty on both cameras. You also get a 10% discount as a subscriber. I'll be adding a couple more cameras to my house.

Have the doorbell pro and love all but the image quality. It's good not great but perhaps due to the streaming nature of it all. I have been waiting for a deal on one of these to cover entire front yard, so thank you
