I am in the same boat. I have 10+ over the last 5/6 years and the waist band is starting to go on them. I decided to refresh them and I've been buying these every time a deal like this came up. I have purchased 5 in the last 3 months.

Every single one, the logo has fallen off after 2 washes (not a big deal but still not a good sign of quality). I have random pilling on the legs (on the thigh/back, etc - not areas that are rubbed together when walking) and every single one has pilling between the thighs, I'm talking about they look like webs because the pilling is getting tangled and connected. The waist band is still okay on the new ones it doesn't seem it will be that durable.

They are not bad, but they are 100% not what they used to make them like.

Stay away from them since the quality change, low quality, they are just trying to liquidate these hence the price is so low.

Read more recent reviews on Amazon and I would search reddit. Tons of users reporting the lower quality. I usually would not b*tch about a product but I've reached out to them multiple times over the last 2 months since I've had issues and not even a peep from them.

Can you elaborate on what is meant by "low quality"? I've got about 10 pair of these that have been bought over the course of the past 6 or 7 years... I can't tell the difference between any of them. Note that I cold wash / hang dry every time to prevent pilling and other general wear.

I agree, I've had great results with mine. However it's been about a year since my last purchase. Just bought a few more pairs now, I'll see how they compare. I don't wash them any differently than my other clothes. Normal wash/dry cycle.

Some of my more recent pairs I've bought over the last year or two are a little more loose fitting than a lot of my first ones I purchased maybe 4-5 years ago. Can't say I've otherwise noticed a drop in quality though.

Thanks for elaborating. Luckily I haven't seen any of this yet in the 1 or 2 pair I've purchased over the past year. Maybe it has something to do with hang drying every time?

As a side note I wonder if they are phasing these out for the sport-mesh give-n-go boxer brief? I bought a pair of those for about $15 on a previous SD posting and they are fantastic. Lighter weight material, stay tight on my thighs (don't get loose after a few hours), and have 0 pilling.

I just bought 2 medium. Amazon had a 15% off clip and save coupon for me...did anyone else get them?

$12 - 1.80 = 10.20/ea
