Many walmart stores have this Arris surfboard cable modem on clearance for as low as $9. The retail price is $108! YMMV. This is a great deal for a cable modem that includes a 4-port gigabit ethernet switch and wifi. I was able to pickup several for $21.

It's widely available so I dont think many resellers know about this yet. If you want it better get it quick before the resellers sweep all the local walmarts and buy all the stock.

While there are a couple priced at $21 in my area the reviews online seem to be combined with other modems which keep me from pulling the trigger.

Moving and old roommate is taking current modem and router. This worth driving for at the $21 price point/trying to get a family member to pick up? Or hold out/look for another deal? Not up to date with routers/modems, just need something good that'll work with Comcast.

I went to one store that had 8 in stock. There was only 1 employee working electronics and he seemed very overwelmed. He went in the back and said he couldnt find it, but I'm sure theyre there. So it was hit and miss but I eventually found a few stores that had them in stock. Good luck!

No in store pickup option. I have learned not to chase clearance deals if you can't order for in store through Walmart.com

Specs indicate max speed support for 100 MBPS. Can someone comments whats the max speed for bandwidth it can support?

If this is true than this thing is pretty weak. Good deal for a basic setup but if future pricing is something you want, I'd look elsewhere

So this is a SB6141 with a N300 wifi router ? If so, it is worth $30 or less to me, aside from the faulty in those combo.
