otherwise after you complete your 90 days you get an email with info on gc being issued and sent. you then call mobile care and they do the unlock. no issues

there will be a system update that will trigger an email with promos showing for customers when added but its not fully put in place. no eta yet. should have been fixed a month ago but not working correctly yet.

One more follow up query... Seems like even if phone (S8, S8+,Note8) is unlocked, it might not be supported by Say T Mobile as it does not seem to have band 12.
So is it that the best play is if you plan to stick to their service or say switch to Verizon ? Cancelling and moving to T Mobile/AT&T doesn't seem to make sense... is that a fair assesment?

limited bands being covered by sim workarounds means less than normal service on other carriers which means you really are just looking for issues later
to each their own. this gc offer and the others xm offers have been way better than other carriers so its nice to get a win win for customers.
