otherwise after you complete your 90 days you get an email with info on gc being issued and sent. you then call mobile care and they do the unlock. no issues

How do we know for sure after sign up we will receive $500? I don't want to buy a phone and service with xfinity then end up no $500 after 90 days.

when you get your phone and activate it, info shows under your account page on xm my account app and site.

there will be a system update that will trigger an email with promos showing for customers when added but its not fully put in place. no eta yet. should have been fixed a month ago but not working correctly yet.

One more follow up query... Seems like even if phone (S8, S8+,Note8) is unlocked, it might not be supported by Say T Mobile as it does not seem to have band 12.
So is it that the best play is if you plan to stick to their service or say switch to Verizon ? Cancelling and moving to T Mobile/AT&T doesn't seem to make sense... is that a fair assesment?

Thanks for your quick response. So tempting...but $200 gc is only for Samsung. I wish the $200 gc applies to other phone brands as well.

in my opinion, xm is way better. while everyone has their preference and love others for various reasons, i havent had any problems with xm and reduced my costs by about 120 a month from my monthly att, and using verizon cell service saves me from a lot of dead zones that others cant reach too.

limited bands being covered by sim workarounds means less than normal service on other carriers which means you really are just looking for issues later

to each their own. this gc offer and the others xm offers have been way better than other carriers so its nice to get a win win for customers.

apple gives less promos than samsung in my dealseeking experience. apple is a niche group. same as samsung. rarely do people active switch between them.
