The HP Envy has newer and higher CPU, much faster and you get 4 yrs warranty from Costco if pay with costco citi card + 90 days easy return (if you found something better within that 90 days then you win).

I played with this laptop at Costco store, build quality is very solid and very fast. However, the hinge is not as sturdy/strong as the Dell xps 13. The screen moves when you touch it on the HP Envy while you don't notice that on the xps (double the price too).

Easy - so that you can't do correct apple-to-apples comparison and understand where you win and where you loose by buying this laptop. IPS vs TN, backlit keyboard, you name it - any features you may want to pay for extra $, but based on merchant's info you may decide to go with the lower priced item, not fully understanding why the price is lower... Merchant wins.

I test drove a yoga and for me personally I didn't like the fact that it didn't have a dedicated number pad but it also has the goofy shift key layout which I found maddening.
