Damn. I got it on release and filed price protection when it went to $870 a month ago.
Nothing has changed in a decade. There is no beating Intel's mainstream i7 series in games. They're the Best.
Now if we're talking price:performance and in the content creation, professional space, it's a different story. That's what TR is all about. If you don't see use for a 16c/32t cpu in your day to day workflow, then TR isn't for you, unless you like burning money and worse performance in applications you actually use compared to Intel mainstream.
