This is actually a solid shoe...I have the waterproof version and enjoy it.

edit: I use mine for disc golf if that helps anybody. actually has a really good outsole, which is an issue with the wear and tear disc golf puts on shoes.

I bought these locally a couple of years ago in size 12 for a lot more than this. Took them on my around-the-world trip. Walked an average of about 4 miles a day for 6 months and totally wore out the sole. Unfortunately for me, I needed to replace them while in China because they were hurting my feet and knees due to uneven wear. Could not find anything in my size in China but that's another story. I like these shoes because they are nice-looking and quite comfortable at least when relatively new. I just ordered another pair.

Boo...no large sizes. Need a 14 or 15. I can generally rely on Adidas for larger sizes so this is a disappointment.

Agree on the elastic laces! I have these on 3 pairs of shoes, and one of them outlasted my Brooks haha. Still going strong on my Reeboks and Adidas.

That's quite ironic if you really think about it. They make the majority of shoes there but you weren't able to find them there.
