It's a made up term (I think Briang developed the slang but for some it caught on like wildfire) for any kind of berry or fruit that a person would use to make a fruit smoothie to drink, instead of drinking beer like a manly man, such as Briang. He wants to get someone in before the next board meeting in Jan. He said he is already a month behind. She is still pushing using a temp agency to get someone in here temp to perm. He is against that because we pay the agency double what we would pay a direct hire. She is concerned about him having time to interview. He said, what about Matt? She is concerned about how proficient he (Matt) is in MSWord and that temp agencies already have all of that information on the candidates (SERIOUSLY!?) She is concerned at how many WPM he can type (duh, it was included in the resume) and what a *risk* it is to hire direct. ED says, well I took a risk when I hired you, I took a risk when I hired Thrifty (I hate when he calls me Thrifty), blah blah blah.
She is definitely stuck on stoopid. He is the Executive Director, he makes the hiring decisions. She is simply the Office Manager and doesn't do that very well.
I told you, you should have karate chopped her in the throat when you had the chance.
