Hows return policy at b&h? What if it has bad light bleed? Will they accept an exchange?

Really nice price for this. Instant FP material.

I'm wondering what is different in this model compared to other years. It seems this is the 2017 version.

The big difference is the price you will pay. Curved screens are just a gimmick because monitor/screen manufacturers ran out of ideas but needed to make money off of consumers. This is an IPS screen so it has very wide viewing angles.

I wonder how this compares to the BF deal from Best Buy for the 29"? Since BB charges tax it's like you're spending the same amount of money but getting a bigger monitor, right?

So how do the specs stack up? Refresh rate, pixels, etc. I'm a relative newbie when it comes to monitor performance, so I'd appreciate any insight.

Thoughts on this vs LG 34UM60-P from the BuyDig deal a day or so ago? Was about $250 for that one.

I have a 34 ultra wide straight. No problems with it. In fact, depending on what work you do, like photo/video editing, straight will be better. I think curve is better for gaming, watching movies.

Got 2 thanks OP. Browsing for monitors for two days already. Just in time as I was losing hope of finding a perfect one for my needs and budget.

Those people that bought the 29" ultrawides are going to be kicking themselves because its 34" ultrawide or nothing. It is that much of a big difference. The 29" height is to short. The 34" ultrawides are like a command center. When you see it on your desk you'll just grin. It's amazing. It fits your peripheral vision perfectly. Its amazing for multitasking and even gaming. This is a freesync monitor so it has the same 75hz capabilities, resolution etc.
