Here are the main differences :

The Roku Streaming stick+'s remote has voice enabled search and is able to control your TV's power and volume. The Premier+'s remote does not. And of course the stick is more portable, but both are pretty small.

The Premier+ has storage expansion options with a MicroSD slot. And also has an Ethernet cable input. And it's remote has a headphone jack. The stick+ does not.

There is no chart that has both models on it. But here are 2 separate charts that list each one of these models' features plus other models as well :

Whoever the mod is who edited my original deal post here deleted a lot of useful information in my original post including comparing other models with this. Plus he posted that the Target red card is an additional 15% off, when it's only 5% off.

This is not exactly helping the slickdeals members here. Should have left it as is...
I asked this question in one of those threads and all anyone could tell me as to why they were excited about the roku streaming stick+ vs roku premiere+ was just due to its portability for the most part. A few did mention the tv volume controls etc but mostly it was because you can move it around.

I looked them both up on Wikipedia when I was looking for differences and they run pretty much the same hardware to process.

The premiere+ has a slight hardware advantage. (MicroSD, Ethernet cable input (stability), headphone jack control)

Streaming stick+ has greater portability and voice remote controls.

Is this stick better than the 2016 premiere+ box that was available at best buy for around the same cost a couple weeks back?

This is honestly the only Roku stick to get. The previous versions of this stick were awful and slow but the WiFi is incredibly fast on this model.

I have the premiere plus but I've never used the Ethernet and the microsd slot. I'm wondering it the stick would be faster on my 4K tv vs the premier plus.

Ethernet will always be faster than wifi in general.
The two models should give you similar wifi speeds, but Roku claims the wifi range is 4x bigger on this stick than the previous models, not sure if they meant previous sticks or all previous roku models.

GLWT, the one thing Amazon is notorious for NOT doing.
