There was another discussion on this deal yesterday. The page never says refurbished, but the manufacturer's part number is for the refurbished unit on Acer Recertified's website. Customer service doesn't seem to be aware of this but it ships directly from Acer and not them so they wouldn't be.

Weird. Aren't you required to notify a consumer if they are purchasing a used product?
It does make sense however, since the MSRP is listed at 599.99, which is the refurbished price, not the MSRP of the normal monitor.
I just talked via chat with one of their sales associates. They said it was a TN panel and they are updating the page. Hope they will honor the orders for those who jumped in

Indeed. It's a giant listing issue in general. There was even discussion on whether it was a TN or IPS panel even though it explicetely says it's IPS. Based on everything I can find it's a refurbished IPS. They are going to have a lot of angry returns on this if it ships.

I called them and they said it was IPS, seems like everyone is getting mixed info. Regardless the rep reassured me they do not sell refurbs and it is listed on there website that they do not. Pulled the trigger (:
