This can be unlocked for ~$2 on eBay. There's a huge thread, been going a while. Read up, most questions anyone can think have already been answered in there. In short, it will work with most GSM providers (T-Mo, AT&T, etc.) once unlocked and Verizon Prepaid. If you want it for Verizon post paid, gotta pay the amount Verizon lists on the back of the box on prepaid first (think it's $79?). I believe to use it on Verizon MVNOs like Total Wireless, PagePlus, etc., it's the same requirement. Will never work with Sprint, Ting, Boost, anything Sprint MVNO.

As for the deal, it's hard to beat. I'm using the WM deal one on ATT right now. Paid to have it unlocked on ebay. I didn't have to manually input APN, it works great.

FYI you can't bring a phone to RW until the most recent 3.0 plans (which also switch the pricing and coverage to T-Mobile)
