Yield of most toner for the laser printers are measured in the thousands.
I did a little comparison shopping for you and anyone else that might be wanting to know(rep is appreciated but not required hint hint) and the avg price per triple camel for a complete (black, cyan, magenta and yellow) remanufactured toner set is ~$180 and ~$350 for factory new.
The toner that comes with any printer is quite a bit lower capacity than one you purchase so this cost is something that you factor in.
I have a similar printer made by Brother that I jumped on before checking BUT got lucky in finding toner that works but is put out by a non-official company , quite a bit cheaper, as well as primarily printing in only monotone.
There are kits for you to refill the stuff yourself but I personally made such a mess that I prefer the second cheapest option.

and other site $173 for colors - est. 2300 prints
Excellent question and considering that this type of printer is designed for a business/high output/high usage application, the toner commands a higher price BUT typically will still be far cheaper per page.

Looks like a highly capable device for the price. In for one.
they are referring to a toner refill kit you do yourself. There are videos on YouTube that show you how.
I have purchased replacement chips and put those on my original cartridges and have gotten considerable more life out of them.
