It depends on the conditions I think. I really love goggles, especially when it is cold and windy. It keeps snow and ice from blowing into your eyes. For me, I can do sunglasses on a warm spring day, but overall I think a good pair of goggles is better. Goggles also can be bought with lens tints that you can't easily get on sunglasses such as amber/rose tints for overcast/flat light conditions to really help show the contrast and details in the snow. If you haven't tried goggles give it a shot!

They work great with glasses and they actually look great. Used them earlier this year for snowboarding.

Do you think they're compatible with glasses? They're so big. I'd probably look like an idiot.

Was tempted but it's difficult choosing which lenses to get. Thinking about photochromic lenses... anyone try those as ski goggles?

How much of an improvement over regular sunglasses are skiing goggles?

Guys need advice... I already have Zionor X with lenses Polarized Brown (VLT 12.8%) and the Yellow (VT 54%) ... Intermediate snowborder (blue and light moguls) in Colorado. Do you think I should get another set with something closer to 16-20% VLT for middle days or are the Brown + Yellow good enough to cover all settings? Thx!
