I would hold out on another amazon deal if you can. The $599 deal a week or so ago on amazon was better. It included a Vive Deluxe Audio Strap and $100 gift card.

Yes. It has to be a newer computer too. You need a good graphics card. Steam has a VR system check to see if your computer can run VR ( Vive requirements are slightly higher than the Rift ) and tells you what you need if you cant.

I'm debating rift or vive. But I'm leaning towards vive bc I hear it's easier to setup, and it's more friendly with pc components. Plus, you have to use the C drive on rift, can't use a dynamic drive. But I hear the user experience is pretty much the same
