possibly because no VESA, lots of people around here "require" it...

Don't confuse input lag with panel response time

Why the TD? Seems like a decent price for a 1440p monitor with low input lag (9ms) according to this

9ms is not considered low input lag.

Weirdly, the list price is $299, but I guess it's just for show because without the coupon code it's already $224.
(With the code, the page makes a big deal out of taking $100 off the original price of $299, even though it's really only a change of $25).

Either way, $224 and $199 are both good deals for a 27" monitor in my book. I just feel like Lenovo has a funny idea about how to show prices for things.

Yes, it is. Look at many of the gaming monitors in the database and they have similar values. I think you're confusing the actual input lag from testing with the published value that every manufacturer claims.

27 inch
IPS
99% sRGB
QHD

$200 looks like a good deal.

not as good as the $190 BENQ one tho.

Why was the BENQ better (other than price)?

nice, I like that! It's never been a complaint of mine as far as whether a monitor is a deal, but that's an excellent workaround.

the BenQ deal I got was refurb, but it's a vesa mount monitor too. That said it does have a bezel...

TBH, since this one is bezel less, I kinda wish I bought two of these instead, I don't use them for gaming so the response/lag time doesn't bother me, but QHD+IPS are important.

You might be right. I didn't TD it, but I require VESA so I can mount multiple monitors up and save desk space.
