I heard Nutrisystem was loaded with sodium
Thought I'd post the link [nutrisystem.com]to the different meals they have.... you can find all the nutrition facts there. Spaghetti & meatballs for example has 15% sodium. A few others have 33% I saw. Again, it worked for my mom, but before that she was eating full-fat cream cheese on a bagel every single day. And half of a spinach mushroom pizza (my brother would eat the other half). laugh out loud

I've read you can burn up to or more than 1000 calories per class. I've seen a class before and it looks intense. I just don't know if I have the stamina. I think about it more, I don't know how well my right arm can stand up to the pressure either. I can just now flatten out my hand and have my forearm at about 90 degrees. I still can't do a lot of Yoga positions Frown

I highly, highly recommend nutrisystem. I've never used it personally, but bought it as a gift for my mom who was having a lot of trouble losing weight- mostly due to her lack of willpower. She gets enough exercise because her job is manual labor and she's the "handyman" for her house, so that wasn't the issue. I bought her a month of it and she absolutely loved it. I believe she lost about 30 pounds. That was last year, and while she has recently gained some of it back, she looks fabulous. What's also important is the program really changed her mindset with eating... she's much better with portion control and won't eat when she's not hungry (a problem she had before nutrisystem).

You're right, it's expensive, but I do not regret spending that much on this after seeing the results. It sounds like it would be a great fit for you since the meals are easy and you can take them with you when you're traveling. I did like that we were able to pick out the individual meals that she would like and she said they tasted great too.

If you want, people sell some of the meals on ebay- you can buy a few to see if you'd like them just to try. HTH, good luck!! bounce
Scratchchin

thanks for the replies everybody.

I think I'll at least give it a try and see what I think. I'm not that picky about food, I don't think I'll have any problems there

For anyone who likes the "healthy" frozen entrees, a heads up- just got back from Target and several of them were on clearance, like spag and meat sauce, chicken alfredo, portabello mushroom pasta (my mom cleaned that one out), etc for as cheap as $.98. Worked well with our coupons, got 4 of the LCs for $3.68 Big Grin Guess they're discontinuing those kinds.

I worked in the garden yesterday. I got a narly sunburn on my back but burned about 475 calories per Spark People. I then had to walk to the shop to pick up my car, another 200+ calories.

Tonight I am going to my first Turbo Kickbox & Zumba class since my roller skating accident. I'm already trying to talk myself out of it, but I need to go. Tomorrow is Aqua Class. I wonder how that is going to be.

Good luck!! I had a roller-blading accident last summer actually, but probably not as serious as what you may have went through. I just have a stupid scar on my face!

I'm so excited! woot Although, my body is not ready. I was just watching Maxim Hot 100 because that sort of motivates me. I may possibly go to the gym tomorrow. I really have no motivation for much lately, so getting my butt down there will be tough!

I got a scar too, but from the surgery to repair my broken arm.

In hindsight I should have worn my brace in the yard yesterday. My wrist is very, very sore today.
