The total of all the merchandise in my macys cart minus the discounts plus tax and shipping is almost always more than it is supposed to be. Kohls used to do the same thing until they were sued. Sometimes the actual percentage deducted is less than advertised. I have also seen a price on an item, closed the window, reopened the window and the price increased. I have also spent hours shopping in store or online only to check out and find that the discounts don't apply to anything I want to buy. At which point, I just leave the stuff with the cashier and walk away. I have wasted so much time shopping at Macys to only get ripped off at the check out. It really is no wonder that Macys is closing stores. Macys has lost a lot of my money over the years.
