The Rosewill RHKT-17001 Stainless Steel Electric Kettle prepares hot water for your tea, coffee, oatmeal and more in no time! Its double-wall construction boils water quicker and keeps it warmer longer. The kettle's inner shell is made of food-grade stainless steel, keeping the water clean and healthy. It's energy-saving and vacuum insulated to maximize temperature retention (2hrs≥176°F, 6hrs≥155°F). Cool to the touch with a housing temperature of under 104°F. Ideal for keeping warm or cold for at least 6 hours. BPA free and built with a high quality 18/8 stainless steel inner and outer shell. Housed with a cordless design and separate 360° rotating base for easy handling and cleaning. Boil dry protection and an advanced electronic shut off feature with a luminous on/off switch that activates once water is boiled. The kettle is designed with a safety lock lid, as well as with a lever controlled anti-spill mechanism that ensures non-drip pouring for safe use.

I thought Roswill was a Newegg store brand. Lol.

For anyone on the fence about this, for what it's worth, a Rosewill 15001, essentially a step down from this model, I randomly bought before has been easily the fastest boiling and overall nicest electric kettle I've bought to date.
In fact, because it's so fast, I end up using it almost exclusively over several others including a Hamilton Beach that was 2X the price.
I use it in conjunction with my gas stove too for noodles which will never boil water as quickly as these do.
Also, for anyone who hasn't used an electric kettle before and may be concerned in using one due their tap water being soft, all you have to do is add a pour of distilled white vinegar to near max level of water and bring it to boil once. Let it sit for a few minutes and you'll be good to go

Looks like a good deal. You might want to add free shipping in title.

I can't get it to apply my shop your way points. I don't know if it is not allowed or I can't figure out using mobile site.

update: not eligible for points redemption

Are there any plastic parts that are touching the water, either during boiling or pouring?
