But how often can you find an i7 8th Gen for $650 or less? I would've jumped on that i5 8th gen with 256gb SSD if I was looking for a laptop 2 months ago...

You mean his comment, "The screen in this laptop I think is likely to be one of the low-quality-TN panels Dell has been using as of late," leads you to believe anything, one way or the other?

I think the Amazon information is just as likely to be correct, at this point, IMHO...

If you want better settings for mid to high level games, I would wait for a deal without integrated graphics card. Otherwise I would say these graphics cards are more so made for entertainment viewing, not gaming.

No GPU in this laptop. Gaming would be done on the CPU alone and it would not be sufficient for AAA gaming. You should have jumped on the deal yesterday for the one with the 1050 in it that was around $500
