These suits when properly altered will get someone through interview rounds and a few more wears before serving their purpose. Unless someone is planning on wearing a suit daily, there really is no need to blow a bunch of money on a suit

so ignore $60 banner message.
got 3 dress shirts and tie for $52 free ship no tax.
let's just hope quality is better than a mall shirt.

shirts are cut too fat for my normal weight frame
(42 shoulder, 34 sleeve, 16.5 neck, 36 waist)
and nobody picks up at their 800 number to cancel,
i've been on hold music for over 30 minutes...
i finally got thru to "Shelly" who was able to cancel out my order.
in the future she advised me to only buy 1905 and slim fit shirts.

I think if you take it to the store they will do pant hem at least. For a full tailoring you'd need a tailor.

Exactly this. People on these types of thread always act like regular folks should be blowing thousands on a suit. People who spend thousands on suits regularly probably aren't on Slickdeals looking for these.

I got a "$495" coat from them that was a complete joke. It felt like it was made out of cardboard... Extremely low quality!

How does ratings work on the JosABank site?

On the main/search page this suit shows a star rating of 4.5. (Traveler Tailored Fit 2 Button Suit with Plain Front Trousers) . When I click on the item there are zero reviews and no rating!

Here's the link to the search results. The suit in question is the second one..

Also, there is no way to see ALL of the suits on the site. If I start from the top, select "standard suits" the cheapest suits that show up are $179. No wonder they need to have these sales as often as they do!

I picked up a couple of these on the last clearance and they are decent enough, but I would say plan on going to get them altered to properly fit you. Nothing looks worse than a poorly fitting suit. Once altered, they work well for occasional usage. Better than what you would get from somewhere like Kohl's, at least.

The normal cut is huge the Taylor fit is about normal and the slim fit is slim fit. unless you are looking for something to swim in without water never get the standard cut. There's a reason those are on sale.
