Interesting...saw this in my email this morning and planned on stopping by after work tonight to pick up a replacement for my aging Air 2. Checked store inventory this morning...10+ in-stock, so good to go. Just looked again, and now OOS. Looks like full inventories at just about every other location I checked...all 2+ hours away.
Which one of you sh*tlords bought up all the stock at the Columbus location?

Is it worth getting the 128GB version for $360? It really sounds like a good deal, but I can't tell.
My won has been using the ghetto (but works fine, despite limited space) Samsung Tab E 11". The main problem is that it's not letting me put apps on SD card, is there a way to do this? Or should I drop $360 on 128GB?
I don't know if Apple has something up their sleeve because iPads slow down terribly. Like iPad 4, very decent specs, but it turned crappy for no reason. Even web pages wouldn't load properly, but once app loads, it would run flawlessly.. Maybe corruption or something.

Two main reasons to get the 128gb over the 32gb
1. If you know or even think you might use the space for movies, apps, etc. So basically if your planned use for this is to keep kids entertained during long road trips, airplane flights, etc. and need it to hold lots of entertainment content in local memory when WiFi might not be available.
2. You plan on keeping this iPad until it dies, as the extra space headroom will make it viable for much longer as a going concern.
3. You use the iPad as your primary photo/video taking device instead of your phone and plan to leave your shots on the iPad rather than transferring them to your primary desktop/laptop.
4. You like to play a variety of graphics intensive games on your iPad as they take up lots of room.
Since 1 and 2 apply to me I'm probably going to spend the extra for the 128 and retire my iPad2 that's given us 7+ years of faithful service. My other option would be either 2x32gb iPads (one for each kid) which is probably more than I want to spend, or the 32gb iPad plus a tablet with SD expansion capabilities (hellooooooooo Kindle Fire for Kids).
