I bought something similar a year ago. That battery-powered circular saw was absolute crap and couldn't hardly do anything with a blade it came with. I almost returned the whole set because of that. Bought a cheap Freud blade at HD just to give it a chance and it is now one of my most used tools. Pull it out whenever I need to quickly cut something and not worry about the cords, etc. I never had a brushed motor one which I think would be similar, but the brushless one that comes in this combo is great.

It's likely that this special buy has gone into clearance mode so it's availability and price won't be accurately shown online anymore. I saw half a dozen or so of them in a store today at $299, so you'll probably just have to go look.

Yes, go look. I saw three in the store near me yesterday. I have seen in them in all 4 of the stores I have been in during the last two weeks. Many in each store.

The store I stopped at this morning had 4 in top stock and none down low. Look for that silver strip on the box with limited edition printed on it.

I've had to use the lifetime warranty on my Ridgid hammerdrill and 2 batteries. Both were replaced with new products very quickly. My X2 hammerdrill needed a new chuck, but they just sent me the new x5 (and it's way better imo).
BE SURE to follow through on the lifetime warranty. You must signup online and send in paperwork.
