I've seen 3 stores fall to 169 in my area since midnight, as of 1/10/18... expect to see more price reductions... save the BS page to your phone/desktop and check it several times a day so you stay up to speed.
Q. My Store on BS shows X amount, but online it's showing 447 with pick-up 4-7 days later? Why is that?
A. Make sure you are using the correct store location. During checkout make sure that you select Pick-Up, and not ship to store or ship to home.
During the checkout process you should see a "pick-up save xxx.xx amount" box... make sure you selected that.
You did the above and your 100% sure?
Other reasons why it shows on BS and not WM:
damaged goods will show up on BS, but not on WM for order.
incorrect ship qty from the warehouse. Known as negatives on hand. Meaning a store was suppose to get say 5, but instead received 7... so when all are sold it will show -2 on hand in BS. Chances are another store was suppose to get 5, but only received 3... so till they audit the system BS will show 2 more for that store.
Shrinkage - either via theft or cashier didn't scan the item by mistake or they let their friend have a freebie...
When a customer orders online and the item is in "processing" stage, BS still sees it as available, the WM site doesn't.
When a item is on layaway .. BS still sees it, WM doesn't it.
Best I can tell the WM site has a couple different levels of "available" inventory it pulls from. If a product is marked as damaged, stolen, layaway, online processing the WM site kicks it back as not available... BS doesn't have this filter ability and shows "everything" in store regardless of status/condition of item.
There can also be slight delay between BS and WM
Q. Can I buy at one store at higher price and take it another store and get it lower price?
A. MAYBE, but it's a HIGH YMMV situation.
Q. If I order at the 447 price will the store correct it upon pickup?
A. Maybe, but most likely not.
Q. I see it at the 249 price, should I buy it and wait to pick it up or hold on to it to see if drops in price at my store?
A. You have 7 days to collect and 7 days for price adjustment... it may drop in price. At worse it doesn't and you have to return/cancel the order. It's a 50/50 gamble. Of course if there is another in store at the end of the 7 day period you can purchase it again and start the process all over again.
Q. BS shows X amount in stock at my store... how do I find the item at my store?
A. BS shows the UPC... write it down.. GO TO THE STORE, don't call... go to electronics and ask for a stock check on the UPC. They will look at their PDA and can see if it is in stock. If it is ask them to help you get it. If they can't find it, ask when the last one sold, they can see this on their PDA as well. Still can't find it, ask for a manager to see if they can locate it. NOTE if they haven't updated their PDA and it has sold, it may show in stock on the PDA...so you may be on a wild goose chase.
