My suggestion was not to purchase the same set but rather to purchase the components separately. You should be able to purchase the Raspberry Pi for $29.99 and once you add anything over a penny (such as on of the additional components) you'll qualify for the regularly available $5 off coupon.

That leaves a $25 budget for a few $1 heat sinks, a charger, a Pi case, an HDMI cable, and an SD card and reader.

Good luck!

$5 shipping and discount only applies to 1 item...and don't forget tax now too.
The Ultimate looks good for some tinkering projects though.

These are nice and convenient-looking little kits but neither is a particularly amazing deal if you have a Micro Center nearby since you'd likely be able to replicate the set for less and/or with more components.

Good luck!

I've been looking but it doesn't feel slick given the pi itself has been under $30 shipped before. I have a plethora of ac adapters, hdmi, larger micro sd and won't use the case for my purposes.

Not entirely the same. The Amazon kit is a 32GB. Actually one of the kits is the 32GB Evo+ card. Not like it's a huge difference though. I'm just pissed that the only sold by Amazon.com kit they have is the gaming one. I have a 30 off 60 amex to use.lol
