These aren't quick change. Ironmasters are just like other plate/thread based dumbbells.

I've had these for over a decade. They can't be adjusted quickly and as stated early are a better set when going heavy. Any of these adjustable sets can be a bit risky. I had mine maxed out at 80 and the plates came lose on me. Not a pleasant experience.

Update - Just noticed mine were the original style which didn't use the quick-lock they now use. My set is a pretty dangerous design frankly.

I have these and a super bench. Love them. Watch the videos and you will be convinced at the quality. Everything is really well built and thought through.

The bars are definitely longer than powerblocks and can put some people off, but these actually feel like regular dumbbells which are nice.
