If that laptop has a removable internal drive with the same plugin port known as SATA then it will work. To find this out, look up the model number of your laptop and look at what it supports. Also, to replace it, you will have to open your laptop. I recommend finding a YouTube video of how to open your laptop before doing so. Some laptops are more tedious to open than others.

I'm in the same boat. I already have the original 500gb and a portable 1tb as external storage after installing a 1tb SSHD in my OG PS4. I'm not sure going back to 500gb and an extra $100 is worth the speed.

It might. Just check what your laptop uses. If it's a a regular hhd or sata ssd (2.5) then you should be fine.

SSHD basically does nothing for ps4 unless you play the same map a few times. SSD is still worth it for games that requires long loading time. It all depends on to u how much it is worth, but the difference is there
