Just to clarify, the DLC only contains new skins/decor/battle cars, right? (I.e., There's no new content or modes)

That is correct. New cars, skins, etc but no new content such as maps, new play modes, etc. I will say though the collectors edition is worth it due to the fact that you are getting the physical game vs digital download. 0 resale value for digital download games.

I just wanted to clarify... there's no new game modes or maps, because those are released for free.

I'm still disappointed there's no special Psyonix account that lets me have all the stuff I have on PC go over to Switch. Then I'd definitely buy the game again.

Absolutely! No slowdowns. Game runs smooth and has cross network multiplayer so you can play with or against people on other platforms. Graphics aren't quite as good as PC\XBOX\PS4 but this game is super addictive and fun multiplayer. Totally worth the buy if you have a switch.

Might not be as good with graphics, but you can play this anywhere where there is wifi unlike the other guys. Portability is awesome.

I've heard others mention that the Switch Pro controller is missing a "turbo??" button that makes it a little more challenging competing with other systems in RL bc those controllers (Xbox, PS4 & PC) have this button. They say Switch players will be at a disadvantage playing online.
Anyone know what I mean or heard anything about the controller issue? TIA

All commands (including boost) can be reassigned to any other button on the Switch controllers, so this is not an issue if you don't like the default. But it definitely exists either way.

I've put in hundreds of hours across PC, PS4, and Switch, and I have no idea what you're referring to. The only arguable controller benefit goes to the PC being able to bind air roll left and right.
