got this deal in december and it is great. With my smart things hub the lock will unlock when we get home. I get a message when the key pad is used which lets me know when my kid gets home.

I have installed the pictured set and it works great and looks fantastic. I did buy the WiFi accessory that's supposed make it so you can use it anywhere but even before that it has worked flawlessly. I love that I don't have to fumble for keys at the door anymore especially when returning from grocery shopping.

We have the Schlage Century set with smartthings, much nicer than the Kwikset keypad we had at our previous house. Better build quality, better battery life, and more effective at locking/unlocking by itself, only ever had a couple status failures (where it wasn't sure if it was unlocked or locked) and telling it to lock/unlock cycled it and fixed the state it was in. The Kwikset would some times bind up and just not be able to lock/unlock and went through batteries much quicker than the Schlage appears to based on it's battery status 8 months after install.

This may be a dumb question but the right hand and left hand. I need my handle to go to the left so when I pull my door goes to the left. Does that mean I need left hand? Picture doesn't show

I have this lock and really like it... however, it seems like the tumbler for the LH door came with RH internals. It physically would not turn--so I had to pop it open and reverse the guide mechanism. Now it turns fine, but that mechanism is what signaled "locked" and "unlocked" to Smartthings. Anyone else experience this, and maybe with a fix?
