*Edit: $45 for Zelda is a good price even without GCU (same price as several Frontpage deals over the last few weeks). Price for Mario has been lower, though.
Also you guys should check for that $5 off any brand new game 35 and up. I put it on my order and only paid $33 after Cali tax for Botw, the free shipping also didn't go away even though that technically put it under $35.
Does anyone know any options for getting the Breath of the Wild DLC for cheaper? $19.99 looks a little steep for the amount of content .
The best option for getting it cheaper would be to buy an eShop card when they go on sale. The more recent one I can think of was $50 credit for $42.50 though smaller card amounts have been posted on here before as well. I'd say it's fairly unlikely that Nintendo actually discounts the DLC unless they randomly have a sale on all things Zelda for the game receiving so many awards. As for the content you get a "hard mode", some extra story content, extra shrines, extra divine beast puzzles, and the Mastercycle.
GCU won't share as you typically need to present ID to pickup, and someone would need to trust you with their Best Buy login information. In my opinion $30 for TWO years of 20% discounts on top of sale prices is cheap if you buy more than a couple of games a year.
