All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Had a few good runs at the normal stores. Found Cranium games at TRU for $3 so nice overage and free games.
It really wasn't too bad out there as far as lines and stuff. Report on TV said that 90% of people that are out holiday shopping today still haven't paid off last years holiday shopping. I guess the 10% left that were out there must all be SDers who don't pay!

Stupid cashier started spreading out all my coupons and screwed everything up of course. Why do they feel the need to lay them down and do that???? I was so mad but what the hell was I going to say. Its still a good deal, but was counting on the great deal.

Time to get ready for doubles......Oh, and at Kmart, totally forgot the otto commandments and the cashier scanned an item then entered the quantity. Must remember not to put a group of items together like that. Again, didn't know what to say when she did it. Luckily she it all worked out but could have been bad.

Time for a big glass of wine! 27 days until Christmas!!!

I scored the TV and leapster games thanks to megnsamsgrace hooking me up

It was busy around here but not nearly as much as usual. Hit Sears, Target, Best buy, a local store for some cookie tins and macy's. Did WM online, only wanted one thing there. wouldn't even go near TRU. madness there I'm sure.

Nuts what I'm seeing on the news about people getting killed in NY and CA. That's just awful. It was tame here in comparison.

Hope everyone had great shopping days.

The Long Island incident is certainly a tragedy, and kind of makes all of this madness over shopping look pretty ridiculous. From what I have read, the incident in California sounds like a mutual combat situation that may have its roots much earlier than this morning; still a tragedy...

Hey DS...yeah, really kinda puts things into perspective, eh? Especially given the pregnant woman that was also trampled in the Long Island incident---that hits close to home, as DW was with me this morning at WM. Thank goodness the locals here are somewhat more refined (notice I said somewhat---someone STOLE our Target ad out of the buggy at WM, and when caught in the act said, "Oh, I didn't think you were using it anymore...this is Wal-Mart, ha ha ha." Yeah, okay, asshat---then why do YOU need it, hmmm?

But, as you said, that's so tame by comparison it barely rates mentioning.

Glad you had a good one, and sorry to those who experienced trouble (Teri!)...

I went this afternoon...just for the batteries and glade, I needed to get out of the house!!!
My battery coupon did not scan, but she entered in the code - and the dollar came off. Luckily I only had two. Anyone else's not scanning?
The Rayovac has scanned fine for me, even the multi page worked great today. Try another printer if you can, or adjust your settings. Love that coupon!

Good Morning Target peeps! Rainy day here. Having some hot coffee and planning my attack for today. Yesterday, not such a good day shake head The only store I went to was Target on the way home from work.

Loving the Rayovac q heart They have alkaline ones in the dollar spot too.

Picked up a couple Disney movies, and of course Glade heart

Picked my favorite cashier, as soon as she scanned the glade q, she looks at the screen and sets the q off to the side. She then gets to another 'q' I have, scanned it and flipped on the light :Teriissweatingbulletsbythistime: LOD comes over, takes the q flips it over, tells the cashier it's fine :whew: then the cashier shows her the glade q and adjust them down. Sooo, I had a good enough run, but not as good as it 'could' have been. I'm not complaining though, they were very nice, as always. Out today to buy some more Glade and batteries.

Looks like everyone did great yesterday. INAA, thanks for picking up my things. What did you get for yourself? Oh, and thanks for the lotion post. I'll spend the better part of my day trying to erase it out of my head LMAO

Anyone decorating this weekend? I'm afraid to open my gift closet. If you don't hear from me for a few days, send the rescue team. I'll be buried under the avalanche.

ETA: Checking my mail yesterday was better than shopping BF. My box was full of envies Whee Thanks Sungoddess, Stormy, Soccergal heart heart you made my day!

I actually put up our tree on Wednesday so I could start wrapping gifts and getting them out of the gift closet. We have 9 nieces and nephews that we shop for and their stuff is already under the tree. So now I at least have a little space to move all the other gifts around.

I don't mind decorating, I just hate taking it all down after the holidays. I may use the tree I got at Target last year for a buck on 90%, then throw it away after Christmas. Every year I say I'm not putting up a tree. I want to put a small tree in my bay window, but then everyone throws a fit, sooo...I make cocoa, bring out the lights and ornaments, get ready for an evening of family time.....next thing I know, everyone's gone and I'm putting the darned thing up by myself Annoyed
