This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.
All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

I got the PM that it had matured, but it shows to me when I post.
You know, I am still annoyed about it. I got MA'd for explaining how I get my Glade coupons out of the holder box. Apparently they thought I took my exacto knife into the store with me and did it, and I was talking about when I get home I slice them open carefully so that no one can tell. I was pissed about that one.
That is sooo funny!!
Now I have to clean up the diet pepsi that I spit out on the screen
Attachment 148919
The maxi pads can also be used to absorb the diet pepsi!
You rent the movie there, you will need a credit or debit card in order to rent. If you do not return the movie they will charge you a late fee for each day until a certain amount of days are up and then you will own the movie. (I think it is like 25 days @ $1 per day). You have to take the movie back if you do not want to incrue late charges. Its a really simple process!
I am tired. Haven't been to target in 2 days. Unlikely this week with work but I'm taking Friday off to get some glade done and some other sale items off my list. Hopefully will be able to hit one tomorrow night as well.
I need to find my insert q's for the keebler deal.Maybe later.
I really don't like this time of year...sorry for being a "bah humbug" type person, but I'm like this every year. This time of year brings out the worst in a lot of people.

Ariel - I loved your pictures! My favorite is of you guys smooching...you are so cute together!
Hope everyone have a great day!! I just need to get to Target more frequently!! Especially before the 15th!!

Anyway, once you decide what you want, push the button that says, "Add to cart." Then, "checkout." If you already added your code, you will see that you have a zero balance. If not, push the button for "Enter a promo code." Enter your code. Make sure that the machine accepts it and on the checkout page, again, you will see a zero balance. You will still have to swipe your credit card. Decline to enter your email address. (The codes are one use per credit card/email address, but if you just choose not to enter your email address, then they are one use per credit card.) The movie will be spit out of a slot on one side of a machine.
When you go to return the movie, realize that you must push the button on the screen that says "Return a DVD." I say this b/c the first time I went to return one, I stood there for several minutes trying to shove the DVD back in the slot before I noticed the button.
NOTE: all these instructions are born from the ONE time I asked my DH to go get a Redbox movie, gave him a code and my credit card to swipe.
NOTE2: These Monday/day of the week codes that they email out are good for all, but be aware that some of the codes listed on the insideredbox.com site are regional or very short lived. Sometimes I'll go there with a list of like 10 codes and none will work for me, or I'll have to go through a lot before one will. That's why I usually make sure there's actually a movie I want before I bother entering the codes.
Once you find a code that works for your area, you can use each one once for each credit card you have. This doesn't matter much for the 24 hour codes, but sometimes you can find one that's good for a lot longer than that and keep using it.
Have fun.

And Sungoddess, I have NO IDEA what you are talking about that involves Always
how long can you keep the movie????
It's $1 per day. Your code gets you 1 day free. If you keep it beyond that, it continues to be $1 per day up to 30 days, I believe, then you own it.
each person who signs up gets a buddy. They email any info, new updates, or intresting things
Each person has ONE buddy. example
tom's buddy is Dick. He sends all his info to dick,
dick's buddy is Harry-he sends all his info to Harry
Harry's buddy is Sally- Harry sends sends all his info to Sally.
and so forth.

On another totally unrelated and off topic subject, does anyone know if I can use an oven bag in place of a slow-cooker liner?
I want to make something in the crock pot but I accidently picked up oven bags instead of the crock-pot liners. Wondering if they work the same.
ETA - just googled it and it looks like the two are interchangeable!
