Can I ask for some good thoughts/prayers please for my little one?

I had to take my 21 month old to the ER at midnight. He woke up gasping for breath. Off to the Er we went.

Turns out it is just croup, but it took 2 breathing treatments and a dose of steroids to bring it under control.

I put him to bed at 7:30 last night, he was fine. No fever, no cough, runny nose or any sign of being sick. It was absoloutley the most terrifying moment of my life.

We didnt get home til 4am, and now I am back up so I can shower and take him to the Pediatrician this morning.

My baby never gets sick, and he is just so bad right now. He is still sleeping and I am just so thankful that he is ok.

Scary night for us here
I had a similar problem with my almost 3 year old a few weeks ago...she is hardly EVER sick and one night she was wheezing so badly and could hardly breathe. I took her to the drs office in the morning and they prescribed the same thing- nebs treatment and steroids.

She had no sign of being sick, either. Freaked me out good.

Wow, that's CRAZY cold! Two nights ago here, it was 32, and tonight is it 63. It's nuts how the weather fluctuates around here.

Thanks so much everyone! All your prayers and well wishes worked.

We followed up at the Peds office, and he was wheezing a little. So they did send me home w nebulizer stuff, and more steroids. The steroids are making him really wired, but are working. He felt fine the rest of today and havent heard a peep out of him.

It was very scary, because it didnt really present like croup, he wasnt coughing or making the barking sound. It was almost like he swallowed something and it was blocking his airway.

Although I was previously CPR cerified and I worked in the medical field before I had him, all that was lost. You are a Mommy 1st before a medical proffesional. I was a little panicky, but did well.

I am so glad he is ok. I am also thankful to have such wonderful friends like you guys!
Oh thank God. Now I am reading up on it too!

How much did you sale them for? My husband is hinting that I need to get rid of all of mine.
Jars: $1, Refills: $1.25 or 5 for $5, Holders: $2, Sold Out of the jars instantly! Could have gotten $1.50, but I I did that at one sale and people just bought a few here and there. I had so many that I was happy with getting rid of them all.

I am thinking of pricing my jar candles and refills at $1 too...if it is ever warm enough to actually have a garage sale or go to the flea market! I am sure that I will need to wait til Spring. Sucks, cuz I want the $$ now!
It is supposed to get snowy and icey here later today. I am hoping for a snow day!!

I only got the SOW refills with free warmer. Sold them all for $1 a piece only because I didn't want to smell them anymore out in the garage.

i was the slam out bug at Target.

I got in a verbal sparring with the manager. All LEGIT q's, everything matched up correctly. Had a buggy full on top, and underneathe. It was just a nasty nasty nasty mess. MGR called me all kinds of names and said I should be grateful that Target is much nicer and cheaper (!!) than walmart.

I lost it. I told her to take everything and shove it where the sun don't shine
Really? The manager should find this interesting? Cool

It actually snowed here last night while I was asleep. Of course it melted immediately, but there's still some on the cars and grass.

I was going to comment about plgffl's manager's comment about T's prices being cheaper than WM's... heck no. I saw a person in khakis/red shirt shopping at the SWM when I was there on Friday Coverlaugh And the SWM was busier than the ST across the street... a Friday night at 7pm and ST was quiet. It was creepy.
