This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

But seriously, anyone with common sense knows not to just take SHEETS of coupons to a store of any kind!

I think we're dealing with a bunch of slinkies here... EEK!

Just got back from my son 2 yr checkup.. his weight is still below the graph..only 21 pounds.. he is picky eater unlike his big sister. I usually give him nutripals but now may consider buying duo-cal. A coworker used it and buys it from ebay.. pretty pricey.. anyone have used this or advice where to get this cheaper? sorry, just frustrated right now.
I would honestly not worry. I have a 5 yo who weighs 27 pounds. She has always been really tiny and tall. She was a FTT baby and we still have some problems. I would try Carnation Instant Breakfast, there is also a printable for $4/3 right now. I know my local T sells the single bottles for $1.50, so it would be .50/3 bottles. You could try it and see how he likes it. I think it tastes better than nutripals definitely!

Quote from kiran6779 :
I'm so sorry to hear that. But no need to really stress over it. My 4 year old only weighs 32.5 pounds, on the other hand my 2 year old weights 31 pounds. My 4 year old is super skinney, and a horrible eater. Her doctor says to not really stress over it. As long as they are on the same curve as birth, that it is not really any problems. She has always been small.

Sometimes she only wants pizza and I just give her want she wants to eat, and there are days when she'll hardly eat and days when she'll eat all day long.
I agree with you. DD has been taking lunch for most of the school year. She just started wanting to buy and has been eating chicken and fries every day now. I try to keep everything high protein and calorie and low sweets.

I'm not sure about Duo-Cal but I know that certain medical insurances will pay for PediaSure with a pediatrician's letter deeming it a medical necessity. I would also think the same would apply to Duo-Cal...I had the same problem with my daughter at one point she was drinking 3 bottles of PediaSure a day and that ain't cheap laugh out loud I eventually got my insurance to cover a 90 day supply for us with the help of the pediatrician but then I discovered rice protein powder and flaxseed oil and began making her smoothies without the chemicals and added sugar and she gained even better than when she was drinking PediaSure...
Carnation Instant Breakfast is also a good substitution for pediasure. I have seen many nutritionists and each has recommended this. I have never been able to get my insurance to cover any of dd's supplements but I have crappy insurance, LOL.

Quote from anepu :
I left Target and forgot to get a price check on Pediasure. Does anyone know? I was angered again today when I saw that some of the Coke products expired on the 15th. THis was a different Target.
$7.84 for store brand and 11.99 for pediasure brand.

My ds's doc had him on Carnation Instant Breakfast. My doctor had me on it once too when I was too thin (like that will ever happen again)

LOL teri! I know, I wish i was thinner. On a side note, I have lost 12 pounds since having my wisdom teeth pulled on Monday. That is nice, now only if it will last. I have about 40 more to go and I will be very happy and be at my pre preg weight. Watch, then I will get pregnant again (please noooooooo!)

Heads up for all you fellow beauty/skincare addicts, there's a hot deal going on at ulta.com.

Here's the thread:
https://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?sduid=345332&t=1083333

But the title is misleading. There are four stackable coupon codes that give you $17 off of most orders (some prestige beauty/skincare items are excluded): 98356, 97080, 98164 & 98282. You just have to click back on your browser after you enter each one.

You can also get a bunch of free samples, and free shipping if you order at least $25 worth of stuff (pre-coupon).

Enjoy!! Big Grin

Its the Mirena. I have had it since May. Just amazing! I know some people are really against them (they think it is abortion, but I do not see the connection, but this is my personal belief, please do not flame me for it!)

So I spent about an hour hooked up to a whole bunch of monitors and stuff. Every single reading they got on the baby, they said, "That's perfect," or "That's right where it should be." And mine were all fine too. Which makes me happy, of course- but also, what the heck is wrong with me??? Sadwalk
It's that weird pregnancy stew of hormones, combined with prolly being on your feet a little too much, maybe working too hard...gotta take it somewhat easy, ya know? I hope my friends here don't flame me for this, but it's been my experience (as an observer, of course, but a close one) that if you dial it back just a notch, and don't try to do everything with the same zeal and gusto that you did before you were con bambino, you'll notice a difference...imho.

Oh, well, if yer pee is colored appropriately, then you really have nothing to worry about...
