This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

I know I was devastated when I thought one of ours got a out a few weeks ago (turns out I had shut him up in a drawer Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)).

Sorry to hear that. Frown It sounds like you are doing everything you can. I hope he comes home soon.

Thanks hug I keep hoping that maybe we'll get our own little Christmas miracle. I can tell you one thing, if he does come back home, he will be getting a microchip asap!!! I hate going to look for him at the shelters too, there are so many sweet loving animals that it just makes me sick. Dh even only somewhat jokingly said that maybe we should adopt one because that would ensure that ours would be waiting in the driveway when we got home and then we'd have 2 cats! Funny thing is, I didn't even want this cat but the kids found him and brought him home when he was a tiny kitten and I couldn't say no and now look what he's putting me through!

Thanks. I'll give the GC's a shot first. If not, I'm sure I can find something...I still need some stocking stuffers.
Hey you!

If you cant buy a gc, just buy a big ticket item, and then return it, they will put it on a CVS gc for you!

Did you guys see this? A coworker sent it over to me... I thought it was pretty funny/good. The Mom Song [northlandchurch.net]
I'm behind a few days, but thanks for posting this - that song never fails to crack me up and I needed a laugh. Smilie Here's the lady who wrote it - Anita Renfroe - performing it as well.. she's hilarious.

laugh out loud More freaked and happy to be out. I've never seen a creature leap so fast or high out of an enclosed space though. I was so happy to see him I actually screamed. Blush2

Does anyone know the best use of the $3 Coty peelies? I read somewhere that the small bottles would be 4 for $10 the day after X-mas, but I am not seeing that in the ad!

My CVS won't do that. DH returned $35+ worth of stuff that I used ECBs on and they gave him $6 back.

I love the gift basket idea!!! I did something similar for people with Glade, endust, etc. I personally love that stuff (you know, useful instead of something to gather dust) and in these times, it is much more thoughtful and necessary. I agree with telling you dh to shut it! laugh out loud
We did gift baskets for DH's family this year. I think we spent like $50 total for 10 people.

The kids got:
*Colgate toothpaste
*Listerine Code Agent Blue (whatever it's called)
*A game (younger ones got Cars 8 game set, older ones got Sorry Card Revenge)
*A t-shirt
*A&W Rootbeer float soda
*A bag and a half of candy (Kit Kats and Gummy Lifesavers)

The women got:
*A tote bag from CVS
*Aussie shampoo/conditioner
*Bic Soleil Razor
*2 Obey your body lotions
*Johnson & Johnson lotion
*Crest Pro-Health toothpaste
*St. Ives body wash
*A bag full of Bliss chocolate
*A t-shirt (from Christianbook.com, they were $2.99 each on Black Friday)

The men got:
*Coffee (Paramount Coffee had a 40% off sale on BF and I used a $25 gift certificate)
*Coffee Mugs
*Bliss chocolate
*Razors
*A t-shirt

My husband's dad also got a popcorn maker, popcorn, and a Superman movie. My husband's mother also got massaging slippers. It took almost an hour for everyone to open their gifts from us (we do the gifts one at a time). It was awesome!

Just got back. It finally gets cold here on the night she is having a party outside :brrr: at least it's at the restaurant/bar she works at so we could keep going inside, plus she kept bringing me these delicious little shots of something called Royal Flushes yummy after a few of those, I warmed right up Stick Out Tongue

Ah ha! Can you then buy a different GC i.e. Amex or pre-paid visa with the CVS GC?

Quote from jgordon21 :

You are kidding me? I rarely do returns but when I have my cashiers/managers are grateful that I bring in my receipt where they can clearly see my coupons, ECB's and low oop. They have given me back cash before as that is how I pay or GC for the entire amount of the product returned. What does corporate say about that?

Oh and Teri, let's hope you don't get Sick from the Royal Flushes and have to do a vomit Royal Flush. Roll

I just want to say that I hate my target, and I will not be back there. I have absolutely seriously had it with them. I will update later on what happened, but I am just so peeved. DF even stuck up for me. I had a 100% complete legit order, and about $100 worth of stuff that was extra. It was not a good ending and this is upsetting.
