When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Hey, gonna post this for those that bought the red-boxed IPOD/MP3 FM Transmitter. It works with a regular stereo (not just a vehicle!!) Just put batteries in the white part, plug the white plug into your headphone jack, and put the transmitter and stereo on the same channel-VOILA!!! It worked with my old stereo from college that I keep with by my treadmill for working out. Worked as good as my $80 Monster transmitter!!

Speaking of things I dont have time to do, I got a wonderful gift of a serger for xmas (I used to sew all the time and loved, ahh the good ole days...) and was wondering if any one here has one. Also, if so can you recommend any books to help? I haven't serged anything in a while, so I want a good book with informational/technical kinda crap, but also some books about cool things to do with it!

You could practice by monogramming a nice set of Egyptian Cotton bath towels with the initial ' T ' on them. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

I want to try to stockpile some diapers before the new GB gets here. I saw a post somewhere that was about how many packs of each size to buy.
Does anyone know or can anyone give me a rough idea?
Thanks for any help

What the heck is a "serger"? Gotta go look that one up... Confused

ETA: Ok, got it : "A serger is a machine that creates the finished seam you see on the seams of ready made garments such as side seams in sweat shirts and tee shirts." Very cool...had no idea this existed!

It's kinda hard to know what to stock up on... My DD was in size 5 diapers by the time she was 10 months old!! EEK! She's now in size 6's... shake head I guess it would also depend on the size of the child as well.

can anyone link me to the coupon insert list from this past weekend?

And I saw this rebate, but wonder what is the catch. even if you don't use coupons and buy two of the cleansers that is still only $13 OOP with a $15 GC back?

Thanks, I guess I'll just get about 3 NB, 4 size 1, 4 size 2, 4 size 3, and go from there after we see the size of the baby. I can always exchange them if I get too many of one size.
Thanks for your help.
I have been buying diapers for my GD for 2 years but never kept count of what was used Doh

As to the manager "knowing" that a shopper didn't donate purchases ---

Isn't it amazing that a T manager knows what their customers do with their purchases? Did they stalk the customer for days, weeks, whatever?

The BS that some of these managers come up with is unbelievable!
If the manager knows people hide stuff and have it on tape, why don't they just remove the stuff and put it back for others to buy??

I have a serger. I've had it for over 13 years. I used to sew A LOT. I made all the curtains for my house, and all the clothes for my son & I. I don't do it anymore, but every once in awhile I'll pull out my serger to use. It makes everything go so much quicker because it sews the seam and finishes it all at once. I can make a pair of sweat pants in less than a half hour if I needed to. Once you figure it out, you'll love it! It can do a lot more than just sew seams too. You can do some decorative stuff with it, but not monogram things. Frown

You're welcome. I just never thought to keep track of what I'd gotten diaper wise either! I think I used maybe 2 pks of the NB size and then she was out of them. I did find I was in sizes 4 and 5 for a little while... Best of luck!! And, congrats on your soon to come GB!

Exactly! I think most people don't use many NB but you just never know. Both my kids were early so we used preemie and then NB and I think both of mine were still wearing size 3 when they got potty trained (I know DS was for sure). I'd say if your going to stock up on anything I'd get mostly size 1, 2 and 3.
