There is another team on the ice that wants to win as well. Watching your team lose sucks, but you have to keep it all in perspective. It is a long season and bringing your A game EVERY game is a lot easier said than done.

There is still a lot of hockey to be played but the way the Caps were playing at the end of the regular season I never dreamed they would be down 0-2 especially to Columbus.

I figured we would have our yearly Pens/Caps 7 game fight to the death playoff battle.

Pre expansion draft no one expected the team would be anywhere near a playoff team. Such an amazing story, and I couldn't be happier for Fleury.

Happy Vegas and Fleury are moving on.

Listened to several local (Pittsburgh) sports radio hosts today and none of them are giving Vegas much of a chance to advance any further. Anytime Fleury is in net, there is a chance.

Avoid the "we're going to come back, beat Pittsburgh" people. They are clearly unstable.

Of course I don't know your pain from a hockey perspective, but it similar to my experience with the Steelers. A large group of locals love to throw Tomlin's winning record around, but I think they make the playoffs despite his poor coaching. And then the team & coach gets exposed.
