One thing I noticed , they kind of went way out of bounds with the fat jokes on that show. Like the way they made Robert take the ferry instead of the helicopter for a fun day out and then by the time he got there the whole thing was over.

I was rooting for Danny early since he was really strong and I hated that other blowhard guy but right at the end I started having my doubts when the female contestant -- forget her name , came on really strong and he had all that "velvet hammer" nonsense. He came off like a caricature he was so bizarre, which suprised me because he didnt seem that bad early on. Im still glad he won but I hope the other contestant gets a better job from the show too, she seemed be non-moronic, classy and competent. They both deserved to win.

They always seem to get the most weirdest looking people for Hells Kitchen which is why I wasnt all that attracted to the show at first. Top Chef seemed to get people who seemed more normal. Hells Kitchen seemed to get the dregs of the cooking world or something -- really coarse, misfit-looking types. However, this group seems to be a new low.

After seeing the two hotheads on the show --- sure they need drama, but I cant stand those two guys "Mr. Former Marine Toughguy From the Bronx" and the "Im just a good 'ol boy who likes to drink beer and if you look at me funny Im going to punch your lights out". I hope they can both of them right away. They seem so overbearing and so over-the-top they arent so much funny as psychotic. The second guy seems to be suffering from "roid rage".

Oh damn... didn't realize it was two hours... I only watched the first I guess. Hulu listed only the first. I'll have to check the other one out.

Iagree This is a show for gourmet food... Now I appreciate good biscuits and gravy.... but I wouldn't ever have it as my signature dish. lol

Yeah that guy with the glasses has never worked in a restaurant OR been to culinary school. He just works at a place that sells overprices spatulas.
